Time and the Third Sector

Next Wednesday, the 16th of March, the Directives and Professional Women’s Network of Social Action (DDiPAS) and the Council of Barcelona will hold a day of debate “Time and Third Sector: we construct effective and sustainable organizations”.

The event will take place at 16.30 in the Barcelona Francesca Bonnemaison Space and will feature the results of the study “Time management in social organizations: current situation, challenges and difficulties” that DDiPAS has elaborated upon surveys from personnel of various organizations and the conference will hold “Reconciliation: illusion or reality?” run by Elisa Stinus and who will present the Aspasia award of recognition to the trajectory of individuals favoring gender equality.

Carolina Pallàs, director of management at SURT will participate in a table of experiences in which different organizations will address what they have done in the area of conciliation. From SURT, we will focus on the challenge of being a mostly female organization in which we are aware of the dual social responsibility we have as caregivers and employees as well as the social awareness of the organization and, at the same time, the extra responsibility of carrying out social projects and inclusion that requires continued attention.
