Wings and New Worlds for women survivors of sexual exploitation
Wings and New Worlds for women survivors of sexual exploitation
This Thursday at SURT Foundation we held a seminar to share the methodological and work experiences of two research projects whose thematic focus is support for women survivors of sexual exploitation.
Wings project, which ends this January after 2 years, has focused on providing linguistic and psychological support, and advice for integration into the world of work through individualized programs, to surviving women. The project is coordinated by CESIE (Italy) and in addition to SURT, KMOP (Greece), PAYOKE (Belgium) and LIBERA (Italy) participate.
New Worlds project will be developed during 2024. It aims to provide personalized and adapted support to female survivors of sexual exploitation, in order to provide tools and knowledge for better social and economic integration in our society. It will be coordinated by SOLETERRE (Italy) and SURT participates with COOPLOTA (Italy), EILD (Greece), FTDA (France), IASIS (Greece), ISMU (Italy).
Both projects are developed with funding from the European Union.
