TeamWork2: we are networking against sexist harassment in the workplace

On the 6th of February we participated in the second transnational meeting of #TeamWork2 project, in Zagreb, hosted by the Croatian organization Centar za nove initikasi (CNI). We gathered the 13 partner organizations of the European initiative that is networking with the aim of preventing harassment in workplace and sensitizing companies for the establishment of measures and protocols for the prevention and care of bullying.

The thirteen organizations that are part of the partnership have made progress in concretizing the actions that need to be developed during 2025. “The meetings are very useful to resolve doubts, specify how we should develop the common actions, objectives and methodologies, and go all the entities one by one in each of the execution packages”, according to Eulàlia Pedrola, coordinator of #TeamWork2 project in SURT.

As part of the project, SURT Foundation and Carla Vall’s office have established a collaboration last January to offer citizens a free first legal advice service in situations of sexist harassment in workplace.

#TeamWork2 focuses on the previous requirements identified in the project research reports, TeamWork1, on which SURT goes as well. On the one hand, it seeks to raise awareness of the company and the workforce and work on developing capacities to deal with harassment. On the other hand, improving the prevention and treatment of this violence and bring all the interested parties together and create networks to achieve its eradication.

In this project, SURT are partners together with: IVEPE -SEV (Greece), KMOP (Greece), GAF-DA (Bulgaria), YCCI (Bulgaria), SEP (Bulgaria), Adecco Formazione (Italy), Oxfam Italia Onlus – OIT (Italy), CGIL – Toscana (Italy), CNI – CEE Gender Network (Croatia), CARDET (Cyprus), EVEP (Cyprus) and DIESIS (Belgium).
