GUIDELIFE

This project is developed and funded within the European community vocational action programme Leonardo Da Vinci (second phase, 2000-2006).
GuideLife targets the guidance and counselling sector with the purpose of increasing their understanding and knowledge about social disadvantaged groups (migrant women, youth at social risk, long term unemployed, people older than 45 years old, ethnic minorities, etc.) and, particularly, on the barriers that impede themselves to participate in life long learning.
The final aim of GuideLife is to increase this particular group participation in life long learning. The outcome of the project will be the European Handbook “European Solution for Guidance and Counselling for Social Disadvantaged groups”, which will aim at counteract their exclusion from life long learning.
