Gender, Poverty and Exclusion
DG 5, Occupation, Work Relations and Social Matters, European Commission
(2000-2002).
|
This project stems from the confirmation of the existence of gender, origin, and ethnic discrimination in the social and economic dynamic of our society, which increases the exclusion processes and specifically affects the paths and factors of certain groups who find themselves in situations of higher
risk.
The project sets out to contribute to an understanding and analysis of the social exclusion processes that affect three groups that face especially vulnerable situations and respond to specific causes: women heads of lone parent families, non EU immigrant women and women of gypsy
ethnicity.
