Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy
The Women’s Association for labor reinsertion, SURT—from here forward, SURT—located at Guardia 14, bajos (08001 Barcelona), and with the fiscal identification number G-60274602, holds the domain surt.org and informs the visitors and users of the website about its policy for the protection of personal data. The use of SURT’s website and any of the services involved presupposes the full acceptance of the conditions found in the detailed privacy policies.
1. Data Gathering
Fulfilling Law 15/1999, of December the 13th, on personal data protection, which says that personal data that has been requested in our forms will be included in a personal data file, of which the responsible party and owner is SURT. Likewise, when a person fills out any form where personal data is requested and he or she accepts its being sent, he or she expressly authorizes SURT to process or incorporate the personal data given in the form and all of the data created with respect to his or her participation or use of the different products or services that are offered on this website into SURT’s own automated file.
2. Purposes of the Processing
The data provided will never be used for any purpose other than what it has been given for, and it will be cancelled immediately after it is not needed for this purpose, except when a law has stated something else. When the person interested sends his or her personal information and e-mail address to SURT, he or she expressly authorizes its use for periodic communications, specifically including those done via e-mail that SURT may carry out with users of activities and people who could be interested in the organization, to inform them of the activities, news, courses, programs, projects, and any services or products offered, related to the organization’s activity which is being carried out. Apart from what has been said up till now, the automated gathering and processing of the personal information provided also has as its purpose the administrative management and execution and development of all of SURT’s own activities, and the management of the user in the different services available to him or her (for purely informative purposes: application for information on courses and services, participation in congresses or conferences, application for course registration...)
3. Security
All the information related to data of a personal nature received by SURT is processed with maximum confidentiality, and it proceeds only in the communications which are strictly necessary for the loaning of the service that is of interest in each case and the communications and the authorized granting by the user through this privacy policy. SURT guarentees confidentiality in the processing of the personal data collected, as well as in the implementation of the measures, whether technical or organizational, which guarantee the security of this data. Each user has the right to access the information that concerns him or her, compiled in SURT’s files, to correct it if it is mistaken, cancel it or oppose its processing, by emailing the following address: surt@surt.org, clearly indicating the subject: PROTECTION OF RIGHTS LOPD, or through writing and giving one’s signature (attaching a copy of one’s ID), addressed to SURT, located at Guardia 14, bajos, 08001, Barcelona.
4. Cookies.
With this warning, SURT communicates to the users who use cookies when the user is navigating through the different screens and web pages. The cookies used by SURT are stored in the user’s hard drive but cannot read the data contained on the drive or the cookies files created by other providers. SURT uses the cookies to obtain totally anonymous information concerning access data (the date, the hour, the minute, the frequency, etc.), in order to limit some of the traffic parameters on the website itself and estimate the number of visits, so that SURT can focus on and adjust the offered services more effectively. SURT reserves the right to modify its data protection policy in agreement with its criteria, or due to a change in legislation or in company practice.
