OCCUPATIONAL
WORKSHOP
The Socio-Health Mediators Occupational Workshop aims to improve the employability of non-EU immigrant women or those who belong to a cultural minority and who for various reasons find themselves outside the native labor market. It is about contributing to labor insertion through training in a new profession which has emerged out of the social changes and new unsatisfied needs that have arisen from such transformations.

The mediators workshops are held in agreement between
SURT, Women’s Association for Labor Insertion, and the Research Institute Foundation of the Valle Hebrón University Hospital.

For the duration of the workshop the participating women were hired by the organization and received professional training and insertion support.
The Workshop is financed by the Department of Work of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
